Edna DelGreco Obituary

Edna Del Greco passed away peacefully at the Village of St. Edward in Wadsworth on Thursday, February 26.

She was preceded in death by her devoted husband Ralph, her parents, David and Mildred McDanield , her brothers David Lee and Richard. She leaves behind her sister, Linda Holbrook and her sister-in-law, Virginia Del Greco. She also leaves her own children Catherine ( Kim) Wooley, Patricia Del Greco, Francis Del Greco, Christina Del Greco (Gary Sparks). She was the proud grandmother of four grandsons, Christopher (Christine) Wooley, Benjamin (Michelle) Wooley, Andrew Kocian and Alex Kocian. She also leaves her remarkable great-grandchildren, Jameson, Aviana, Aliza, Owen, Adeline, Charlotte and Zia.

Edna enjoyed spending time with family and friends. Outgoing and social, she was an avid golfer, enjoying bowling and card parties with her friends. Her kindness extended to her volunteer work at St. Sebastian School and Our Lady of the Elms. Edna was a talented needleworker sharing her work with her friends. She enjoyed travel, visiting many states and lots of beaches. 

Mass of Christian Burial Tuesday, March 3, 2026, at 1:00pm from Guardian Angels Catholic Church 1676 S. Cleveland Massillon Rd., Copley, OH.  Where friends may call from Noon until service time.  Interment Rose Hill Burial Park.  

In lieu of flowers donations would be appreciated to Stewart's Caring Place - Cancer Wellness Center in Fairlawn, Ohio.
